Thought a  little price comparison would be interesting for you living in the US.

USA
CAO Italia Ciao Box of 20 109$
Sweden
CAO Italia Ciao Box of 20 229$

USA
Don Pepin Garcia My Father No:1 Box of 23 207$
Sweden
Don Pepin Garcia My Father No:1 Box of 23 465$

But we have the option to buy Cubans from Switzerland ....

COHIBA Siglo IV Box of 25 384$
http://www.cigarone.com/cuban-cigars/30,cohiba-siglo-iv--cuban-cigars.html

Or.....

EL REY DEL MUNDO Petit Coronas Box of 25 134$
http://www.cigarone.com/cuban-cigars/123,el-rey-del-mundo-petit-coronas--cuban-cigars.html

So its a bit weird, the cigars from Central/South America becomes more expensive than the Cuban cigars.
Real shame since i really like CAO and Padron.

That is odd.  Do you imagine purchasing from an American shop and shipping internationally might be a little cheaper?  I have no concept of international shipping charges.

I also wonder how popularity of cigars differs between the US and Europe, and which country enjoys their cigars the most.

The problem when you order from American shops is that the Swedish customs put tax on, so they will become as expensive as they are in Sweden. Only way around i guess would be if they sent them as a gift, Sweden doesn't tax gifts.

Belive Cigars are more popular in the USA then in the EU.

Have you done the salt test and calibrated your hygrometers?

Salt test link: http://www.cigarsinternational.com/html/cig101_12st.asp

This is the one that came with the humidor i bought, it was only 2 percent off. real easy to calibrate with a Small screwdriver.

I did it back in February when I got a new hygrometer in.  I saw a digital humidor on Gilt a few weeks back but it was sold out already, gave you all the readings of temp and humidity and such on a digital display, normally really expensive too but it was a doeable price.  Owell.

I'm down to 7 sticks in my humidor!  Must order more very soon.

I have a small temp. gauge in my main Humidor which sits on 4 others and I can tell just by felling a Cigar if the humidity is right in the Humidor.

Bought a cheap digital thermo/hygro, and the saying you get what you pay for is once again painfully true!

Did the salt test on the digital and it was off by more then 10%  :P

Considering I posted on February 24th that I received a shipment of 24 cigars on top of the 15 or so I had in my humidor at the time, and I have 7 left less than 2 months later . . . I don't think I give my cigars a chance to go bad (and they come really well taken of from cigarsinternational).

That, and I also seem to have a problem.  [coffee]
