So now i have to mail them a copy of the invoice before they release them  >:( and probably pay them around 80$. So much for the freetrade agreement with Switzerland. Well better luck next time, it's like playing lotto...

Just got done recording Daniel Craig.  Was not able to get the Cigar Aficionado magazine signed, didn't feel proper with the amount of clients we had present, but he is a gentleman.  We heard rumors he was a difficult person to work with, but I think they were just that; rumors, and thankfully my fond impression of him has not been ruined.

15 years, that's quite impressive!
They should be getting better day by day.

Dante, would you say the Perdomo Sampler is worth getting?

I am going to design and build a humidor out of some Golden wood that I've had laying around my shop.  Its been waiting for a worthy project.  Can't decide whether I want a 36" wide x 16" tabletop display case with a water glass insert in the top.  Or, a 3-4 drawer end table style humidor with a clear glass panel on the top.  Either will be lined with Spanish Cedar.

Definitely worth getting, and I think for the price it averaged something like $2.50 a cigar.  I like samplers because they meet a nice pricepoint and you can try more kinds of cigars and find new ones you enjoy.  That set had a lot of good ones in it.  I don't think I really disliked any of them, just preferred some over others.

I think you'd be better off w, the 3-4 drawer Humidor.

That way you can separate you sticks as far as mild to strong and they won't co mingle so much as if you had them all together if I have the concept right on the 36"X 16".

When you start building your humidor make sure you document it and post it here :)

And for humidification go for these, absloutely the best and easiest way to.

I ordered a Dainese leather Jacket one time from Belgium .

Cost around $600 and I think Customs only got me for $85.

Those must have been some mighty expensive Cigars ( especially when you add $130 to the price ).

How's the humidor coming along, rgramjet?

A client of mine gave me some Oliva SerieV today, only had Oliva on a couple occassions.  From what I've heard they're pretty good aren't they?  Anyone have FHE?

Its coming!  34.5" x 15.5" x 4".  Dovetailed corners, mitered lid with clear glass panel, solid Spanish Cedar bottom (unsurfaced on the underside, planed on the inside).  I am going to line the sides with 1/4" Spanish Cedar.  I have to iron out a couple of base detail as well as any lid edge profiles.  Then, it'll be finish time!

When I got the 4/4 x 8" Spanish Cedar, thought it would be cool to make a solid humidor out of it.  No planing, just a rough, splintery cube of aromatic wood with dovetailed corners and a treasure inside.
