Wife has been a vegetarian since leaving for college - no issues for me really - I probably eat better than if she wasn't. She cooks me and our daughter meat, but doesn't eat it. Purely a taste thing for her, not a moral.

The only thing I've done differently since moving in with the vegan is keep the meat products on the bottom shelf, so they don't possibly drip on her food. That's it really.
You people calling vegans freaks are just hanging out with freaks who happen to be vegans. The two ain't bound.

My GF was a vegetarian for years, then we started dating and a month later she was getting burgers with me. She said she was goin to go back to being a vegetarian and is starting to now.
On a similar note, I met a girl that was a lesbian, she switched teams and we dated, when we broke up she went back to the all girls team.
sounds like the same story using different euphemisms.

"she don't eat meat but she sure likes the bone"
Lived with a vegetarian for four years. Introduced me a lot of foods I probably wouldn't have eaten otherwise. That was cool. But my wife makes the best damn meatballs ever and I wouldn't trade them for all the soy in China.

Can you guys dial back on the euphemisms and innuendo?
It's getting a bit tiresome.

there are plenty of places on the web to be sophomoric...
you can register and be that way...
it would be refreshing if we could raise the bar a bit here.

I've never been a vegetarian or vegan, and I haven't dated one but I've been told by friends who are one or the other that they can smell meat on a guys breath. One compared it to a non-smoker kissing a smoker - the smell can be completely over powering and disgusting to a non-smoker. According to her it's the same with a vegetarian kissing a non-vegetarian (at least sometimes).
If that's really true I can understand why they might not want to be with someone who does eat meat. I don't date smokers for the same reason.

nah, it's a crock. i didn't eat meat of any kind (including fish) for almost 18 years, and it never made a difference. and i have a very sensitive nose.
smoking puts smoke particles directly on the tongue and mouth wherease a piece of steak passing across the tongue doesn't really leave anything detectable. you might have a different body scent altogether, but you'd have to eat a LOT of something.

My previous boyfriend was a heavy smoker, I'd definitely take bacon breath over that.
