I used protaper ATV SE high bars and risers. Worked great as my bike was nearly un-rideable before because of wrist and neck issues

Sure! The bar risers you can get on ebay, and the SE bars you can get at cycle gear. One thing to remember, your brake and clutch lines, along with throttle/cold start lever, and electrical harness wont be long enough. Youll have to section the harness and make the wiring longer. The cables can be made at motion pro, and the hydraulic lines can be purchased at Speigler. Call both companies and they can tell you how to measure the lines and cables. I did the work myself, and even then it was about 400$ in parts. But it was worth every penny.

You made it way more complicated than it has to be.

Rerouting cables with the Genmar risers.... anybody have pictures??? I get a major throttle rev when I turn left now. Which is fun at slow speeds to get the rear to pop out on you.
I don't really want to section things out and buy longer cables and the dealer seems to think that they have an easy solution... which I was hoping not to have to pay for... although the $400 version above seems a tad out of range for me.. I don't know what the dealer solution entails or costs.

When I had my SpeedyMoto risers on, I got some revs too. It was the idle lever cable. Rerouted it.
I'm not sure it's the same on your bike, but worth looking into?
If it's the throttle. there might be some rerouting options there as well.

Yeah... I was just messing with it and realized it was the idle lever cable... I just gave it some slack and all is well now.
Speaking of SpeedyMoto... they have a kick ass production facility here... I toured it the other day... very cool.
