ATV jack: better to build a table our of ply wood and 2x4's with a wheel chauk/bike stands IMO.  Stands allow you to work on the engine when wheels are on/off, and you don't need to tie it down.  With an ATV jack, you need to tie it down with can be a pain - just personal experience.

Compressor: What do you want to do with it? How much use will it see at one time - aka die grinder/paint/etc?

Air impact wrench: How often do you plan to use it?  If not very often, and all you're doing is taking your tires/wheels off cars, get an Ingersoll IR231-C.  It's cheaper, will do everything you'll need, and is easy/cheap to rebuild (and won't wear out unless your a professional - I was, had it, used, and abused it for 10+ years and it still works just fine).  Not as light as the one you're looking at, though.  I've also got a high end snap on 1/2", but that was bought to do heavy stuff where it takes 350+ lb-ft to take the nut off (think heavy duty truck axles/suspension).

Mr Earl

I used to buy compressors for industrial use, and those Sears high-RPM compressors would burn up pretty quickly.  We'd get about 8-12 weeks of use (12 hours/day, 7 days/week) out of them.
Leo Vince CF slip-ons, '01 SS900 fully adjustable Showa forks w/ST2 springs, rebuilt S4 shock w/Ohlins spring, 748 dog bone, Swatt clip-ons above the triple, Sargent seat, Duplicolor-Dark seat cowl, Rizoma grips, Techlusion TFI, SBK front fender, Evoluzione slave, BMC sport air filter, 14-tooth sprocket, Desmotimes caseguard, S2R side panels, Pantah belt covers, fake CRG LS mirrors, extra black zip-ties, right grip control imprint on tank, de-cannistered, Ducati Meccanica Bologna key ring

You don't need any of that to take your bike apart and you'll probably do more harm than good putting an impact gun on things. THe only exception to that is if you plan to take your forks completely apart - you'll need an impact to seperate the cartridge from the fork lower.

For a stand look for a post by charlief he built a stand using plywood that stores flat and goes together without fasteners.

If you want to spend on tools buy yourself a full range of qaulity torque wrenches. I like CDI Torque products and figure about 600 bucks

Also get a high qaulity set of allen sockets avoid the ones with the ball ends

A set of GearWrench pivot allens will also come in handy

A hammer operated impact tool will also help get stuck bolts out - I have the same bike and didn't run into any though

What exactly, are you planning on doing to the bike?

change the headlight fluid and muffler bearings. duh.

If your going to buy a compressor for tool use. Intermittet use as in, a wrench here every 10 minutes once a month. that compressor is fine. but dont expect go work a whole day without it wanting to cry and possible break on sooner or later. they dont have much of a duty cycle. Especially since its OIL FREE. its going to be loud. and its going to suck.

Do yourself a favor and buy something that is oiled.

Those $300 impact guns, unless you use them all the time arent worth it. air tools are simple in design, and ive used my CH one that i bought in home depot for $25 for quiet some time now. Ill just lube and it works fine. Its good up to 250lb.fts, thats more than youll need for a lot of things.

And that car jack sucks. If i were you, and had the money and space, id save my money from buying those 2 items, and get an actual motorcycle stand from HF. Ive heard some good stuff about their stands. its about $400 or so.

Okay, so that would be basic handtools and a case of beer.

Two cases if you're putting it back together.

Paint and other things require additional tools.

I tore my bike down (to the engine and took the clutch right out) with basic tools, no impact wrench and no beer.

man I y'all crushed my Team Ellison pit team dreams. I was all excited about air compressors and such. Hey, good feedback, if  it's not needed, it's not needed. Rather put that money in the bike.

On another note, when I'm done, do insurance companies offer special coverage for customs bikes? So my investment will be fully protected? I think I've heard of such for classic and custom cars.

Yes.

They used to call it a stated value appraisal...don't know if that's changed.

Any licensed appraiser can write one for you. Save receipts. It will cost more than the average policy.
