I see a few monsters with different exhaust other than the usual, and was curious what else will work well with a 4V bike? I like Akrapovic, FMF. Was just curious about this, figured maybe some other board members were just as curious. Not sure if the back pressure would be so different etc. Exhaust is not my expertise.

You have two variables: engine exhaust port configuration (S4/S4R) dual-port and swingarm style itself.  Rear header varies depending upon swingarm that is used. (or can be easily modified to fit)  Thus:

** bolt on setups **
- S4 engine w/DSS: S4 exhaust system
- S4 engine w/S4R swingarm: S4R exhaust system

** welding/fabrication needed for these ** (it will get you headers/collectors -- everything needs to be handbuilt after that)
- S4 engine w/SBK (916/996) swingarm:  916 exhaust systems for the headers/collector itself. (fab work needed for upper shock mount and engine case narrowed)
- S4 engine w/1098 swingarm:  916 exhaust systems for the headers/collector. (fab work needed for upper shock mount and engine case narrowed. Exhaust collector needs mild modification for clearances.)
- S4 engine w/SportClassic or Supersport swingarm: S4R exhaust system (although fab work needed for upper shock mount)
- S4 engine w/Hypermotard or Multistrada swingarm: S4R exhaust system (although fab work needed for upper shock mount and engine case narrowed)

So you need to pick a swingarm assembly that you are going to use.  Exhaust systems will vary until this one item is determined.
