The damage above is the result of an 85 mph down... Though there's a bad looking puddle beneath it.. it's held up pretty well for that speed.

Though there's a bad looking puddle beneath it.. it's held up pretty well for that speed.



Yeah, looks like motor oil.

It looks pretty good for a crash at that speed, but it's not going anywhere on it's own.   Undecided

Every bike is going to look bad after a 85mph crash (unless it has sliders and a big open stretch of track).

That bike really doesn't appear to be set up properly for the terrain the photo was taken in........

Yeah, those are not the right rubber for 85 on dirt... probably a contributing factor.

I'm willing to bet the new Multi is going to prove a great touring mount and much better sport bike than anyone would guess from a first look at it.

What I wouldn't be doing with one or a Beemer for that matter is trying to seriously enduro on one. Not a dirt bike.

If you had to travel some serious decently maintained gravel/fire road to get to the next good section of pavement it will be competent at that.

Bet it's gonna be a serious kick ass sport tourer though.

85mph on dirt, probably not. But those are the purpose built tires that were designed to do both road and dirt.

And for the record, I want one too -- but for this big hurdle called money and another (smaller) one called a 1998 ST2 electrical system that keeps messing with my ability to believe that Ducati can get electronics right the first time out of the box...
