I forgot how much I missed it, it's so good to be back, even if there will be snow again

Gentlemen, you can't fight in here, this is the War Room.

There is nothing noble in being superior to some other man.  The true nobility is in being superior to your previous self. And in bacon.

Yesterday it was over 75 and sunny! ;D Yeah I know... sorry bastard!! Don't know how you cold weather DMFers do it. I would need months of counseling having to hibernate my bike like a freaking bear! And just think, all of us in North Texas have been pregnant doging about how cold and wet it's been all winter... what were we thinking??!! [bang] I remember a couple of years ago going on a big DMF group ride on the first weekend in January and it was 75+, windy but sunny! I guess you do what you have to do and just wait for that first ride of the year. All I know is my bike would have about 38 coats of wax and the chain would have been oiled twice that many times if I was "up North".

Really glad you made it out... nothing better! [thumbsup] [moto]

so. cruel.

Yeah Nordog. It's really inappropriate to go reminding the cold weather folk that the rest of us are out riding every single day as it be all sunny and beautiful, down to the beaches with bikini clad women. Especially when they're stuck inside or out shoveling. Shame!
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Great Dr. Strangelove line in your profile!!! One of my all time favorite movies!!! We'd see it on campus during college for a buck, it showed all the time and our group of rowdies never missed a showing. I picked up the nickname "Bat" from the Col. Bat Guano character who shot the Coke machine for change!! [laugh]

OK... back on topic. ;D

There are enough of us "notherners" that man up and ride anyway.   ;D And by man up I mean we have let the snow and ice freeze our brains enough to allow us to ride.  [moto]

Yeah, I rode during the winter I spent in Montana.  It was a bit chilly up there then.
