^^ I agree with all the above regarding Scott @ motoservicio. I've had both 7500 & 15000 mile service done there and he's great ..also, i'm pretty certain Scott is much less expensive than a dealer.

due to have some service done soon will check out those places with multiple positive feedback  [thumbsup].

Thanks very much!  [clap]

Nick has also been known to pick up/deliver a bike for a small fee.

When I was shopping around for service (admittedly a few years ago) I heard that Moto Servicio wasn't accepting new customers.  Has that changed?
My fast lap is your sighting lap.

I am new here you are quite active both here and on the other board.

I will be in SF Valley first week of April if I have time I will drop by Nick's shop and see what he can arrange for bike transport.

Appreciate the information. [thumbsup]

Spectrum advertises that they will pick up and deliver for  free with a 15 mile radius.

Moto Servizio has always been accepting of new customers. He just doesn't jump when some guy calls and demands an appointment the next day. He's straight up and tells you no if he can't do it. If anyone has an issue getting in with Scott PM me. He is a bit more accommodating of referrals then cold calls.

Scotty is the finest, arguably most experianced, factory trained Ducati mechanic in the area. I really can't think of anyone with his experience level from bevel to desmosedici. To be able to have access to his services for the rates he charges is truly remarkable. I can't tell you how many bikes that were previously worked on at other shops that came into Scotty's with truly odd or unprofessional work done to them. Stuff like wheels on backwards.  [laugh]

I recently got my 998 back from Motoservizio ( and dropped off the 'ol Monster for her 18k service)... He's VERY busy right now.... A few weeks till he gets to my bike but i'm fine with that 'cuz he's working on her. Truly awesome service- The 998 runs fantastic right now [evil]

When you call Scott just tell him you like video poker & cats ;)

FHE with Brea, Newport and Spectrum.  All good shops IMO.  Newport guys are transplants from Spectrum (sales and service).  All three shops have helped me out when needed - Brea dremeled my key when it broke, worked on it for an hour and charged me $25.  Spectrum gave me a couple of freebees but have come across as a bit full of themselves.  Newport is my choice, close to home, helped me out and the guys are mellow when you walk in.

Had service done mostly by the Newport guys and never had an issue.

Mostly stock '12 796
Sold - '09 696 with 30,000 miles

at least 2 of the guy from Newport are former Brea Ducati employees...
