OK, I met Louis today in Plano and he suggested I join the site to find some cool people to ride with. If it's on the weekend and I'm available, you can count me in.
Riding a Red 1098S!

You and I both missed a nice ride this afternoon from all reports. I was busy trying to amputate my thumb with a floor jack.
From the picture you look like you were thinking about having some fun at ridiculous lean angles!
There will other rides in the near future, so visit here often, and also here:
http://dfwducati.com/index.php
That's the link to TOB, or, "the other board", as it's known; unless you are over there, in which case this board becomes TOB. Between the two, you have the sum of all knowledge of Ducati-related activity in North Texas, relatively speaking.
So welcome aboard! [moto]

welcome! Are you in Plano or Frisco? pm me your info so you can be on the "secret" text list. We often take off on a whims notice and try to catch Porsche's, Ferrari's and the like down the tollway for dinners. Or as was the case one time Louis. [moto]

I'm in The Colony, but I'm usually around Frisco and Plano. So if you've seen a SB you didn't know rolling around for the past year. It probably was me.
Thanks for the welcome. I look forward to meeting you guys on the next ride.

ALAS, you're the one on Main Street time and time again. Finally it took Louis to catch you.

Agreed, much welcome! And yes, it's true... it is the fastest color!
Louis, which TOB are you referring to? DML? There are some OLD TIMERS here (like me) that go a ways back, so to say TOB to me you mean DML and it's been dead locally for a couple of years. Just asking.
Anyway, glad to have you both join the madness! Thank God someone turned the damn winter switch off and flipped it over to spring! Not used to cold TX winters. Sunny and 65-70 in Dec and Jan is my version of TX winter. Isn't that one of the reasons we live here?
See y'all soon!
David, sweet 1098S.
EDIT: You miss use the TOB handle. That's "the old board" as in DML and it is an unflatering claim to fame because of the DML shame. Long story for the new guys... Unless dfwducati now refers to us as TOB. DML beat you to it. But after reading Pinoc's post I see where the the TOB confusion comes from.

Sure does. I now understand but when you mentioned TOB in your post that has a deep dark past with the DMF. It's got nothing to do with dfwduc. It's a long story best told over beers. DMF used to be DML until it was "raped" in a business way by an unscrupulous investor. Again, good beer story and in the end it produced Ducati Monster Forum which is the thumb in the eye of the bastard that bought the Ducati Monster List. OK, end of history class. I'll assume the other board from now on in local posts. We are sometimes accused of being too PC but then again it's not our board so it's not our rules we follow, it's the owners of the board. No biggie.

Welcome!
It's a pretty good bunch here...
...there is another guy who posts here with that avatar... Perhaps, only to keep confusion at bay, to consider another one?
