99 M900 No Spark... HELP!!!

First I would like to thank anybody that helps in advance for their help.  THANK YOU!

I bought a 99 Monster 900 from a junk yard in Cali back in '02.  It fired up, good compression, no probs. Just cosmetics (tank and exhaust) and of course the frame needed straightening. 

Took it to the Frame Shop in So. Cal.... and it hasn't worked since ....  Could never get it to start again.  Also, its been in storage since.....  '04 (dry, no fluids). 

Pulled it out of storage this year to make it run or sell it.  I would love to ride this beast and prove the wife wrong! 

Bought a new battery & added all the fluids and same problem arose.  I get 1 weak spark on one plug, once only and nothing on the other.  I've retraced all the wiring about 10 times.

  I need to know where to head next before bowing to the wife and saying, "Your right, I need to sell it as is."

Anything will help.

Did the frame shop do any welding?

It almost sounds like you may have bad ignitor boxes. The things on the battery box that look like relays.

They're big money from Ducati and I know of no aftermarket source other than replacing them both with the ignitec system.

Before you go that route it would be worthwhile to check all the grounds and connections at the coils and boxes. The boxes are very fragile be careful when playing with them.

There is one ground under the battery box, and one behind the right rearset bracket to the top of the engine case.

No Welding and I'll check those grounds in the morning and let you know.

I'm assuming you did the obvious -- change over the plugs with properly gapped new ones?
