What do you think peeps.... Used 999 with 1500 miles on it or used 848 with 3000 miles on it... both stock...

I test rode the Brutale 750s... ugh... felt like I was riding a go cart... plus it wound up weird... inline fours are not my thing... lol .... hopped onto the 848... felt nice... I ran out of time or I would have done the 999 as well... not sure why I even test rode the 848... I know how those are...

999.  If you really loved the 848 enough to buy it twice you either wouldn't have sold it or wouldn't be asking the question.  Plus, you haven't owned a 999 before.

Crap, that is a lot of stuff.  Think I'm staying away from there.  If they had a used, original 916 with that set of goodies, I'd be screwed.

I'm assuming the goody set is only with a new bike?  I R confuzed 'cause your went on to talk about used bikes.

Oh, 999 v 848... I'm not much help.  848 is gorgeous, IMO.  999 would be wicked fast (I'd go find a used 1098 first, tho).  I still think the Terblanche SBKs are kinda ugly, though.  Yes, I know, I have a Terblanche SS... and there are some things wrong with that bike's design, too.  Example: I think the fairing looks like a nacelle off a friggin Starfleet ship...

N E wayz...

Yes, the goodies are for NEW only... they moved the Lotus stuff out and the SBKs are now a special area down below. Lotus is now being handled at Grand Tourismo...

I decided not to pony up 15k plus... so instead I bought a 999 with only 1800 miles on it. Guess I will have to suffer on that bike.  Evil  Grin

Motocorsa days are pretty well run. I think they do a, B, & C groups... if you haven't done one before they recommend starting at C. They teach you a lot of what you need to know.

They'll also limit you to C if you don't have all of the right gear.  Check out their gear requirements.

If I recall correctly, C group allows fabric gear while A & B require all leather.

Yes, required for MotoCorsa track days.  I just noted the cloth gear allowed since I'm too fat to fit into my old leathers.
