Most of the time I feel like the cobbler with holes in his shoes. I spend my days managing the construction of rather large private residences (current project is 7000 sqft plus out buildings) while my house is 1100 sqft and in need of a lot of work.

But since I don't want to take out a loan to do any projects at the moment I've been fixing up the house with a couple hundred bucks here and a couple hundred bucks there, doing all the labor myself.

Last night I finished up the fence between our backyard and the retards apartment complex next door. This will hopefully lead to less dog barking.

Since spring is coming let's see pics of your latest home improvements.

HATERS GONNA HATE.

Latinbalar

If i was to post all the things i have done to my house since i bought it in August I would cause the Server to crash.  As of right now my riding has been cut down due to replacing my windows and realizing that 3 walls have water damage.
[bang]  :'(
I live vicariously thru myself......

No more pet stained carpet

No more cheesy vinyl flooring in the bathroom and laundryroom

No more bla kitchen with cracked tile countertop
Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

The retards are everywhere. These particular retards are the future of America. They are the worst and the dimmest and they are attending the near by community college until their trust funds kick in at the age of 21. I literally almost sunk an axe into one of them. I had that make the beast with two backser reared back with the full intent of burying it into the dude's rib cage. Do not come walking up my driveway towards my wife with a menacing look on your face while I'm splitting firewood. The best part of that story is that all 5' 2" of my wife went walking right towards the guy instead of back pedaling. She's great.

I'll post up pics of the 40x10x5 hole I plan on digging Saturday. Maybe with a large piece of equipment stuck in the mud at the bottom if I do things in my usual manner.

To store your bike in?
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

No to replace a 40 ft wall on my garage that I was foolish enough to have someone replace 10 years ago, if I had done it myself the first time it wouldn't need replacement again. This would make it the second time my poor old Wagoneer has been used to keep that wall from collapsing.
Maybe I'll also put up other pictures this weekend of the madness that is my home.

Picture of wall and yard prior to hitting it with the backhoe. You can clearly see in the following pictures why I have to replace it. The wall is 10x40 and currently held up by a '77 Wagoneer inside that part of the garage.  :P

Chosen weapon of attack

Here's how it looked when I have to stop after scaring myself, more on that in a minute....

The reason for scaring myself, a damned rock the size of a small couch. The front wheels of the backhoe were coming up in the air as I lifted it out. Slow and steady got it out of there without tipping back into the hole.

Did a little more afterward but it looks basically the same as the one picture since there is a lot of loose stuff in the hole. Now I'll have to get the rest out by hand and then begin taking the current wall apart.
