What about Marty Stewart?  Not really rockabilly, but good nonetheless.

Grampa

Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

Some people call 911..... some people are 911

Another vote for The Blasters. Dark Night is one of my favourite tunes.

I'm in the same camp at T-Byrd for my suggestions.  Couple other bands I've seen play are The legendary Shack Shakers, and Dash Riprock.  Both put on good sets when they were opening for the Rev.

iF you've got XM channel 53 has a segment called 'Hee Haw Hell' a few times at day that's all Rockabilly/Psychobilly and Cow punk.  Good way to discover some new bands

The legendary Shack Shakers
+1
I saw them open for the Reverend also and they were out of control!!  The lead singer came out with a goat mask on and they rocked from start to finish.  Pure psychobilly bad-ass!

Can't forget about The Meteors, considered the founders of psychobilly.

If you dig Hank the III, you'll most likely dig Wayne Hancock.  Robert Gordon, Old Tiger Army (the newest release sucks balz I think), Mike Ness (Social D front man) has a couple of awesome CD's, Rev. Horton Heat (best show live...ever!), Rezurex, Nekromantics,  Mad Sin, Horrorpops...that should get you started if you want Rockabilly.  [thumbsup]

+1 on Robert Gordon... Black Slacks still plays in my head some nights when i should be sleeping

Gentlemen, you can't fight in here, this is the War Room.

There is nothing noble in being superior to some other man.  The true nobility is in being superior to your previous self. And in bacon.
