so I tore my bike down last night, cause I scored some 620 heads and my ride has been down for a year cause of bad valve guides. anyway I measured the cylinders to be 83 and some change and I checked my shop manual and realized that's 3.010 out of tolerance...that ain't right. so after measuring a half a dozen times I'm beginning to think one of two things: the motor has a big bore kit or my shop manual tells lies. does anyone know the stock bore for a '02 750ie or the over for a common big bore kit?

Let me start off first by saying that i'm no expert, but according to my Haynes stock bore for a 750 is 88.  Stock bore for the 600 and 620 is 80.  You might get a little more help if you posted this in the tech section,  hope this help  [beer]
