Adapter to fit S4R mufflers on S2R1000 system?

Does anyone make an adapter to fit stock S4R mufflers to a stock S2R1000 system?  The good news is I have a very nice pair of cored stock mufflers.  The bad news is they do not fit my bike.

After spending several hours this weekend performing a very careful and professional coring of an extra pair of stock mufflers, when I went to fit them, I found the cored mufflers have a much larger inlet diameter (and no slits in the pipe to allow a clamp to work) than the originals that came off.  After doing some after the fact research, I learn the S4R has a larger pipe diameter than the S2R1000, so these must be S4R mufflers.  Doh!  I did not know to check.

Thanks,

I'd try an auto muffler shop.

Many are doing stainless now and might have just what you need.

I find that very surprising as the cored cans I did for my S2R800 were from an S4R and they fitted perfectly.
Did they come from an S4RS perhaps?

From what I've gathered, the S2R800 and S4R share the larger pipe diameter.  The S2R1000s are unique.
