When I start my S2R800, "Main" pops up on the instrument indicator.  How do your reset this?
I'm between the 6,000 mile and 10,000 mile service intervals.

Push and hold down both buttons before you start the bike. Keep them pressed for a few seconds..

I think you just hold the left button (odo/trip meter button), then key ON. That should reset it.

If you hit the right button (temp/clock), within 5 seconds of keying ON, that will adjust the brightness of the gauges.

I never held both buttons at once though...

Yeap, that worked on my 04 S4R.  Press and hold the left button.  Turn the bike on.  Keep button pressed while the speedo/tach needles go up/down, and then turn the bike off.  Now let got the button.  Now you should be all set.
