Were do i start
The cook is already suspicious, Angry
With me all night an the internet, Lips Sealed
And you want me to go out dinner, and then  with an all day bike ride the next day.
I don't think it would be a wise move . Cry Cry

Sorry Guys and Heather. Kiss

See you on the sunday ride waytogo

And I suppose bringing the "cook" to dinner will confirm all her suspicions about what you get up to.   Roll Eyes  Grin (and most likely give her a few more to worry about  Shocked)

guys I think the issue is two fold:

- the ride the next day may exhaust leave passes
- pennant hills is not too central for most

As for us, we can't make it 'cause it's my mums birthday and we'll be on the other side of the city..

Sorry people!

Alright then guys, see you on the Sunday ride. Can't do more central because of other commitments.

Hey Nick ,Kaz, Heather.

Not sure on yours and Heather's schedule?
May be a suggestion Undecided
Move this on to the Bar italia Thursday night  8th April regular meet might generate some more interest and a bit more central for the majority.
weather dependant with out door dining Vino!
And give some of us  guys under the thumb some more leeway. Grin

I don't think Heather will arrive in Sydney until Saturday. If this is the case, it won't work. I had already thought of that.

I can be in Sydney earlier but I don't have anywhere to stay? I did think of that too as I have yet to have this authentic aracini that some wog boys rave about  cheeky.

Another alternative is that I will be back in Sydney the week after Anzac long weekend.  I may be able to stay until the Thursday night if the people putting me up are okay with that? (you know who you are so let me know - don't want to make it public without permission)

I think I will try and get a job as an events manager after this.  It's hard work trying to co-ordinate it all.

Thanks everyone for making an effort to squeeze my visit into your agendas.  I don't have any family or work (or friends  Cry) to consider so I can come and go as I please.  But I do appreciate that you do have families, jobs (and friends)  waytogo

Heather, if you want to come on Thursday 8th and stay a couple more days, that is fine. There is always room at the Nickati Hotel.
Unfortunately, we can't do the Anzac Day week though.
Cheers,
Kaz.
P.S. Gee these boys are good, getting permission slips and all. I can't say I have ever seen one of those permission slips in my household. Have you seen one before Heather??

Thanks Kaz I will think it about it (tomorrow when I'm sober  Vino! Vino!) may be a bit of a squeeze as I'm waiting on other people further south.

Permission slips? pfft - I give myself permission to do anything, anytime  waytogo

(well at least until my redundancy payment runs out  Roll Eyes laughingdp)

Uh-oh ... what's going on here?

There is some good stuff in this thread. Rob's real problem is that his missus has already met a few of us which raised more questions than answers ... and I can completely understand her reluctance.

Timing is a bastard and it is not a good weekend for us ... nightshift buggers up the whole household.

But I would have thought there would be some interest ... and 'central' is only an issue for those south and regular at Norton Street. Where are all you northern suburbs types?

I don't want to be hearing from people (like after Trev's dinner) that ... "well I didn't want to intrude being a relative newbie / not knowing many people" ... as far as I can tell the invitation is open to everyone. It is a good opportunity to meet a few peoples ... and then put shit on them in a public forum cheeky

Betty, I appreciate your support in this matter.   waytogolaughingdp laughingdp

Don't worry Heather, we will still have fun and a nice meal.  waytogo

The ride on the Sunday will more than make up for what's lacking in other departments.  Roll Eyes Never done this one before, should be fun.  Grin

Hey SIX95, can you come out to play?

Yeah , we don't do "Permission Slips". We do "Encouragement Slips" with the old "Forgiveness Slip" thrown in.  Evil

This helps when your partner is just as badly behaved as you are.  cheeky
