I've been considering putting clipons onto the monster (I'm thinking no rise & under the triple) for a more direct feel with the bike as well as easier access to the suspension bits among other things--the flipped bars make it a hassle to adjust the suspension. Any partiuclar clipons you guys would recommend? Review and pics would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.  [thumbsup]

I really like the LSL clipons with a 1.5" rise, great looks and a decent riding position. Placed them under the triple...

Excuse the shaky photo was on some crack. They are 2.5's I think  [popcorn] Woodcrafts felt like no-rise would have to much lean, borderline uncomfortable. These fit exactly what I was looking for never looked back eothier. Though the pee cups drive me crazy want to lower the gauges as well and get a different headlight.

LSL's w/ lowered headlight and gauges.  Very comfortable.

How much did you lower the light?

Hi Greenmonster,

I dropped the gauges and headlight about 4 cm, so I could mount the gauges below the triple. I fixed it like in this post, only I didn't cut anything:

That cleans stuff up quite nicely! I have to say, it's a tight fit behind the headlight, especially with the throttle cable and brake lines.

Cheers!

Cycle Cat clips from a multi because I have SBK forks.  They have about 3.5" of rise.  Super comfortable and infinitely adjustable.  Gauges dropped below triple.  Replacement parts unavailable because Cycle Cat no longer exists.
