A few short clips of me at my last track day in Alcarras, Spain.

They´re not long but it´s the first time anyone has recorded me, this time it was my buddy Alvaro recording.

sweet.

so are you liking having the track-only bike so you can keep your street bike safe?   wait...

(sorry, Kurt....I Know it's not funny yet...truly sending good thoughts your way for the muscles healing up and getting the hp2 back).

The vids are cool.   How's the track bike running?

Cry Cry Cry - and I thought you liked me...

I know you is kidding, right? The 749 is very very very good. The Showa suspension on that bike is awesome and the agility of the bike is truly astounding with Dunlop GP Racer Endurance tyres on (medium front, hard rear) in 120/190 combo. I was lapping 1-2sec faster than a 999R and some GSXR and Ninjas but, it lacks top end grunt.. the japanese inline 4 bikes just rocket past me on the straights but I brake very hard, very late and I tend to get most bikes at the end of the straight.. when they´re braking I´m still accelerating  Evil

The Ducati Corse 4 spring slipper clutch (non ball bearing type, only ramps) eats up Barnett clutch friction discs. If you ever get this clutch, just use stock discs or carbon sintered discs.

I love the 749, it is a very under-rated bike for average people like most of us and more than we can be completely in control of.

Looking good! waytogo

Thanks! I´ll be back on her in a couple of weeks!

I'll make up the cheap shot with food, booze, and sailing.

Or you can wait until I wad my RS into an expensive paperweight and make the first joke in bad taste here.

Your choice.

It's only ok because you're not seriously hurt.   Wink

Roger that and all the other comments!  Having the 999 here in the islands kind of makes me wish I'd got the 749 instead but it wasn't the happening deal at the time the 999 was.

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.
