Groundhog-1 Monster-0
«

I hit a groundhog yesterday mid turn on a slippery road at 35ish. I have insurance and an accident report. What else do I do? I am banged up a bit but otherwise ok physically. The entire right side of the bike hit and slid. I was wondering if i should get the replacement costs for my own knowledge and to compare?

Also I have Progressive insurance.
The Scorpion EXO 700 helmet hit face first and worked well. I had a ICON Strongarm jacket that also did its job. I hit all the armor points and I have no bruises. My RT knee is skinned..jeans... Alpinestar GP Plus gloves have seen better days for sure as the pinky finger ripped open and I broke my finger. The rest of the glove did what it was supposed to do though. The padded points have some signs of impact and skid so I would have had a pretty badly bruised wrist if it didn't. Over all lesson learned was shit happens and woodchucks suck.

He was too busy seeing tire.
Sorry to hear that, glad you're mostly okay. Rest up, and use the insurance money for some serious bling.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

Sorry to hear. Glad you are pretty much OK.
The best place for the adjuster to look at the bike is in a shop. Do you want to keep the bike and fix it? Did the groundhog have insurance?

Glad you are OK. I'd have the woodchuck stuffed and mounted in your garage. You can give it the finger every time you take the bike out...ultimate revenge
