I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

From personall experience and that of others on this board. Don't use fully synthetic in wet clutch monsters. It can make the clutch slip.
Semi synthetic is cool tho.

Which particular brand did you have problems with? I ran the shit out of Mobil 1 MX4T in my 620 with no problems at all.

i've used redline motorcycle oil that is a full synthetic for years in my 620 and its been find no clutch slipping or problems at all.

just make sure you are using a motorcycle oil that is made specifically for wet clutch motorcycles and you are probably fine.

I use 10w40 in my bike and it seems to work fine.

If you use a car oil, yes you will have lots of slipping using a full synth.

If you use a motorcycle oil, you will not.  I use Mobil1 4T in my S2R and also in my 600SS with zero slipping.

Any good cycle oil.  The difference between a 15w and a 20w will be negligible unless the starting temperature around you is low.  I personally would not use more than 15w and have no problems with 10w40 Mobil1 year-round.

a 600 engine is pretty easy heat-wise and with the later model 600s you can add a cooler if you want -- the send and return locations are plugged with a screw-in that comes out easy.  You can use the oil cooler from a 750 or fab something aftermarket (which I would consider since you can use a smaller cooler and get the best effect... the Paso 750 had two small coolers, use just one of those, fr'instance)

If the oil is motorcycle specific and says JASO MA it if designed for wet clutches regardless of whether it is full or semi synthetic.

If the oil is not energy conserving the clutch will probably work fine.

54K miles on full synthetic, original clutch, no slippage.
