Dear all,

I calling out for some help for pics on how race-stripes fit with the fuel cock cover on Monster tanks.  The race-stripes that I have in mind are the one main stripe flanked by 2 much-thinner ones, I intend to use the pics as a guide for my painter.

Would appreciate a plan / top-view shot. Planning to do a yellow tank / black stripes.

Thanking in an anticipation

Cheers

cool. although if my memory serves, the stripes are broken at the edge of the circle of the fuel cock i.e. tad wider. Is that a custom paint-job?

Yes, it is custom... CF tanks aren't born with paint  Grin

I love the checkered flag on the tank sides.  Any side shots available?

Not to drive this off topic... but yes, yes it is  Grin. Not new (2000 900s) so there's been some work over the years

This is one hijack I do not mind.

The rest of the body just has that same evenly spaced stripe set on the seat cowl and the fairing.

Those are some of the most current photos I have... though I've done a good bit of work since that time. Some obvious like the rear sets, some less like re running some of the wiring and some changes to the electrics, moving the front signals etc

Well here's something that's not quite as fancy.  This is the stock stripe on an S2R.  I hope this is what you were looking for (well, prior to the hijack).
