This is a stupid question but it's been so long since it ran I'm not sure, so here goes.  I'm going to be ordering a couple of push buttons to go on the tank of the bobber (run, start) that light up. I want them to match the stock gauge light color of the original bike (06 S2R 1000) I'm pretty sure it's green but just want to make sure. Can anyone verify this for me?
Thanks

I went by the dealer today and they had an 07, the gauges backlit orange. Are the 06's orange too?................anybody??? ???

I did a liitle searching and found He Man's post with the step by step and videos. Thanks again. I have a lot of wiring work cut out for me, so once i make it run we'll see if I still have the gas to do the LED's in the guage. I may just turn that part over to a good friend at work who thinks stuff like that is "fun" he'll have it done by the time I get all the other crap done for sure. I'll be sure to hit up the valium if I do it myself [laugh]

yeah definitely a cool mod. I've thought about getting my hands on a crahed m1100 to get the white LED screen from inside to put in my 696. i would be the first i think, which is a scary.
