Termis are expensive enough that you'd think they could pony up for a nice, small, tasteful stamped emblem out of thin stainless that would be riveted on.....

On. otherwise what's the point?
Why spend the best part of 1000 bucks on something top drawer then take the label that you have paid a premium for off?
Unless it make you feel subversive in some way.
I took the termi stickers off the termis i bought used off Ebay. Because some numpty had put them on Ducati performance Remus cans. Go figure.

So (some) of you guys are honestly telling me that you can't recognize the sound difference beteen say Arrows, Leo Vince, Stock, and Termi cans?
Maybe it's because I really paid a lot of attention to the sound before I finally decided on the ones that I wanted, but frankly, I do think they sound significantly different from one another.

I've decided to take them off, but I'm going to replace them with better stickers. I agree that the pipes will look too bland with the stickers off, but the blue and red stickers clash with the bike. I've decided to get these...

Those are pretty trick. When I stated to keep stickers, I didn't mean you had to keep the original ones. In fact, I've been thinking about some more tasteful ones myself; but I do want to keep the name (or at least the logo) on them.
Oh and SacDuc; when I said flaunt it I didn't mean in the sense of the Starbuck's poser. I just meant to be proud of what you have. Some other bike owners (bikes from the land of the rising sun) remove stickers and name plates so people might think the bike is more exotic than it is.

I took mine off because they were on crooked, and the glue and stickers themselves were so flimsy that the wind was probably gonna peel them back.

I wouldn't mind stickers on my arrows but they are not stickers they are riveted on and are the two ugliest colors yellow and blue which don't match my dark bike. I just bought some carbon fiber stickers cut them to size and put them over the ugly ones.

That's honestly what I am saying ... I'd be happy to differentiate materials. If you are ever in Sydney let us know I'd love to organise a blind test and see you and your super powers in action.
Adamm, not choice with the stickers ... much more complimentary to the bike.

Ever see the episode of Home Improvement where Tim has Al do a blind test to identify woods used in home construction?
I like the chrome stickers that you found - good find!

The Termi stickers are overt and ugly. Who gives a make the beast with two backs if they're Termis or not. Termis have a rep for being overpriced and poorly fitting anyway. If you're the type that has to festoon your shit with all manner of logos just to make sure everybody knows you have branded goodies on your scoot then keep them on. People like that have small dicks. Like those rednecks that drive Mustangs and plaster MUSTANG all over their cars. It's not because they are afraid nobody will recognize their cars, it's because they like to brag. And they've got small dicks.

Actually, in all honesty the Termi stickers on my pipes look real cheesy in a Latin, non PC kind of way. They're so cheesy they're good! They're as cheesy as the original Monster style of the early nineties. That's the endearing quality.
Going out on a limb here, while some people want to show off brand names to compensate for being member challenged, in contrast, Latin machismo says, "I huv a member grande', und you will know about it!"
It's a Southern European thing..
The Termi sticker style looks three or four decades old. Must be the original style. The style harks back to a time of pre emission V8s, mini skirts and polyester body shirts. Those were the times...
Anyway, my stickers are quite tatty but I can't take 'em off until I re-clear the carbon which has faded around them. Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I agree, that was a good find; in fact, I ordered some myself. Thanks.
