It was a gorgeous day up in the northern CA hills and I came across the black twin to my pearl RS. Met the owner and he's also on DMF I believe, but sorry I forgot to ask you for your forum name, "Bill". (It was a pleasure to meet you  waytogo)

Here are some shots from my mobile. The thing that stands out is that we both have the Termi shorty pipe. The black one has the Quat-D midpipe + DP ECU while mine is still slipped onto the udder with DP ECU + PC3. And for those of you who are wondering how the Shorty + midpipe sounds compared to the udder, it sounds SWEET!! I'm defintely getting one now that I've heard it in person. And cosmetically, the whole combo looks way better in person than from photographs (especially one taken from a mobile). The craftsmanship on the Quat-D midpipe looks very well made. I'm definitely going to put an order for one, even though it's going to cost me the $300 or so PLUS another $300 for the custom map again  bang head. But just from hearing the difference in sound (louder and throatier), and obvious weight savings, it's worth it to me.

Very nice, the both of 'em.

Were you up around route 128? If so, I probably saw you. It was a Ducati-fest (Monster and otherwise) out there today.

No, this was at La Honda/Woodside by "Alice's", where 84 and 35 intersect.

Love the S4Rss .....but the white pearl still gives me a "woody" so to speak. I had black Porsches and BMWs but for the S4Rs it must be WHITE !

I too love the Pearl which is why I bought one!

Only thing I hated was the white wheels - Pearl bike/white wheels, don't match! So I painted my wheels black - Much better AND I don't have to clean them every day!

Very interesting. Sweet bikes.
Yes,,, I would like to hear more on this Mid Pipe/Termi Shortie combo. I have the Shortie on my Udder(CAT removed) & the only knock I have againest this is  "THE SOUND" Doesnt sound near as good as my Zards, or the full Termi's I am sure.

Some Dyno #s would be nice to see as well.

Who has that black bike? I like the blinks in the front. What kind are those? If anyone can help me, that'd be much appreciated.

I'm the owner of the Black S4RS "Aquila Nera" that was at 35/84 last Sunday. It was good to meet you too S4RSSS. Your bike is awesome. I really like the CycleCat clip-ons, tail chop, signals, bad-ass pearlescent white paint, etc. Somebody asked about the front turn signals; they are DP LED front and rear. I also have the Heavy Cycles (Petaluma, CA) LED tail light assembly. It's very bright. I have the DP ECU along with the Quat-D mid-pipe connected to the DP Termi shortie. I working on a way to make the CF blend into the mid-pipe assembly; since the shortie was designed to match the "udder". This mod drops some significant weight from the underside of the bike as well. Looking forward
to seeing more Monsters up at the "crossroads" soon!  waytogo
