Trust me I hear you loud and clear on the swingarm (I don't even have one on my bike yet!).

Anyhow when it comes to exhausts I would have to consider the: Arrow, FMF, or Comp Werkes to be my favorites on this bike.

Alrighty this is where I sit, any feedback before ordering is greatly appreciated:

1) EVR Slipper w EVR hardware kit

2) SpeedyMoto Tall Boy Clip Ons and top tripple - i like the looks of these over the Swatts

3) Podium Racing EVO III levers

4) Not planning on the Bitubo damper yet... I dont particularly like the placement.  Anyone have Kyle racing's Ohlins side mount damper?

5) Duc.EE

6) G2 Trottle Tamer... Any FHE around here?  Seems like a help in low speed city riding.

No opinion - other than I probably wouldnt bother at all.

I've tried both.  I agree the Speedymoto Tallboys look nicer than Swatts, but I found the Swatts a better option in the end.  You might find this interesting (although some of it relates to 696, the setup for M1100 is exactly the same) >> http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=21407.0
5) Duc.EE
With what else?  I have a spare 696 flapperless midpipe available if you're interested......

Let's chat about the midpipe.

For the Swatts I need to move the headlight yeah?  I read through the whole thread but never got clear about that or how to do it.  Someone should make a howto :-)

Those bikes of yours are beautiful btw....!

Oh man, I know.  Your bike is beautiful!  I didn't mean to copy but we both agree it's a good combo - Gotta do something with those gold forks!! Rizoma thinks so too using black&gold 1100s for publicity.  I'm going with flat black tanks and some other touches (Darmah skins!) hopefully to set it apart...

The bike looks great. I don`t see anything about getting the suspension dialed in for you. Bring it to ECS and let them do their magic on it.

haha... I didn't mean for it to sound that way, copy away.  I think you have good tatse  Wink

I saw some other black/gold combos on these forums I stole cues from, plus when you talk about plug and play parts there are only so many options.  I love the flat black, and those Darmah skins are great.

I'd love to get my suspension dialed in more.  I've played around a bit but I wish I knew of a professional in the Charlotte or DC area's.  Where is ECS?  I'm 6'2" 220 so a little dialing is needed.

Yes and no.  For the Speedymoto toptriple you will find that the upper mounting points for the headlight force the headlight to be mounted slightly further away from (forward of) the forks, resulting in the need to space out the lower mounts to match.  Happily, doing so alleviates any issues with mounting either Swatts or Speedy Tallboys as far as space behind the headlight bezel is concerned.  As bigjilm discovered, headlight mounting position vs clipons becomes a trickier proposition when running the stock top triple.  Here's his write up >> http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=35967.0 << The other issue is that Swatts are no longer in production.....

I thought that this was a reasonable explanation of "how to" >> http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=21407.msg447867#msg447867

Ahhh!   I've been looking all over with no luck.  Are the Woodcraft 3" risers the replacement?  They *kind of* look the same.  Also it looks like the SpeedyMoto top tripple is out of stock everywhere... are they redesigning it?  Sounds like the perfect solution since I wanted to go that route with clip ons anyway.

Thanks for the help!  Check your PM's!

monsterparts.com has the best price, but there is  a bunch of them that are mixed (53mm and 50mm clip on). so if u get it from someone personal like jeff@mparts then have him open it to make sure.

i just bought my 2nd pair and returned the first because of htis. i think they are a great set, very similar to my cyclecats. but adjustible x10. cheap too. and cheap to replace the clip on tube. (if u havent realize my occuring theme of cheap to buy, cheap/easy to replace and durable) lol

Thats normal - they're perpetually out of stock.  Took me over two months to get mine.
