Need some fast e-bay advice.
I want to buy another Ducati from e-bay motors - first time buying a bike from e-bay, tho.
The listing is from a reputable out-of-state Dealership and it is a "Buy It Now" listing/price (not an auction).
I am comfortable with the "Buy It Now" price but the listing states "Price May Not Include Tax, Tag, Freight Or Dealer Fees."
I e-mailed the Dealer to clarify the OTD price but it is past business hours and I may not hear back from them until tomorrow - a lengthy period of torment (and risk).
If the OTD is even close to the Buy It Now, I'm pulling the trigger ASAP, but I'm afraid to do so until I can confirm what additional costs there may be.
Anyone ever bought a "Buy It Now" motorcycle on e-bay and/or have any experience to share?
I'd love to go to sleep tonight having just "Bought It Now."
Thanks!

I've been watching ebay Ducs for a few months now, and a lot of the "Buy it Now" bikes sit on there for a long time.  Many of the bikes don't get sold before the listing ends, and the seller just re-lists.  So unless it's a crazy insane offer, and it's the first time that particular bike has been listed, I wouldn't worry about the ticking clock.  And I believe that if you purchase the bike and have it shipped to a different state from the one it was sold to you from, then you shouldn't have to pay sales tax.  Why not call the dealer tomorrow and first offer to buy the bike for a bit less then the Buy it Now price, to cover your shipping costs?  Couldn't hurt to do, because if they don't budge on price you are willing to pay full price anyway.

Look the dealer up and call them directly. Do not wait for the reply on Ebay.

Thanks Grappa & ducrider, I waited until this morning even though it was a crazy insane offer and the first time the bike was listed.
Well, good things DO come to those who wait - just added a new/leftover '09 Hypermotard to the stable (yes, Ducati makes a Hypermotard), priced way too good to pass up even tho I was looking at a new Evo SP.
Very excited, been lusting for a Hypermotard since Ducati announced them (yes, Ducati makes a Hypermotard).

Even though it's an out-of-state purchase, you're still gonna pay sales tax. Your home state will hit you with it when you do the title/plates.

New tank is easy install. My range is 230-240 in the twisties and 260+ traveling.
