Photoshop ninjas - looking for crit and comments

Been trying to branch out in my photochopping skills, and decided to dabble in some realism.

So 1st go is some faked up stitched leather.
I know the colors are a bit blown out right now and could use some refinement. Looking for comments/suggestions regarding the stitching and shading/shadows, and level of realism (aside from the garish color levels)

-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

the green looks more real than the red...it needs more shadowing.
