Seriously, when i am 800years old i want to rock like Lemmy! it is a religion that requires lots of determination, drugs, and Marshall stacks.

Freakin' Philly... sneaks into the playoffs on a shootout and then off's Marty B and the Devils... without Jeff Carter and Simon Gagne...

Wow. Kudos. Congrats, Philly fans.

If I have a team it is the Senators.  I just want them to last longer in the playoffs then accursed Buffalo.  Sorry Pens, I think that means you have to lose.

it's ok. there will be some rule put in place that philly has to win 6 games and washington only has to win 1 to take the series.

either that or philly will jump out to a commanding lead and boucher will once again forget how to stop the puck.

Really good to see the Wings look like the Wings in the 3rd period tonight.  [thumbsup]

I get to print all of the teams shirts. Today we are doing 6000 bruins t shirts. Yesterday it was the hawks. I get no rest during the playoffs.

Penguins-Senators. Hell of a game.
Woohoohoohoo! Two personal records! For breath holding and number of sharks shot in the face.

Sure was.  Hawks/Preds game pretty damn good too.  This Sharks/Avs game is putting me to sleep though.  Let's go Sharks!

EDIT: Looks like I spoke too soon. Left after the second period to get some taco truck, score was 1-1. By the time I got back I had missed 3 goals. Dammit. But, yay! It didn't have to go to 7 games.

I gotta say, im pretty impressed that the wings pulled it off, now they've just got to knock the sharks out and we'll be smooth sailing  ;D I'm hopin washington beats those Canadiens and advances, that would be nice to see. It would be a shame for them to have worked so hard and be knocked out in the first round

I wish the Wings would play like they did in games 5 and 7 all the time.

That being said.

Bring on the Sharks!   ;D

i agree, seeing them play the way they did tonight really brought back memories of the old wings - 97-98 wings.....strong, confident, constant - great team. Should be a great second round

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the whole game.  Only portions of the first and third periods, but your description fits.  Strong puck possession, good fore/back checking, physical play.

I also saw a lot of Miller/Eaves/Abdelkader/Helm out there tonight.  They remind a lot of the "Grind Line" from back in the day.
