it's ok. there will be some rule put in place that philly has to win 6 games and washington only has to win 1 to take the series.

either that or philly will jump out to a commanding lead and boucher will once again forget how to stop the puck.

Sure was.  Hawks/Preds game pretty damn good too.  This Sharks/Avs game is putting me to sleep though.  Let's go Sharks!

EDIT: Looks like I spoke too soon. Left after the second period to get some taco truck, score was 1-1. By the time I got back I had missed 3 goals. Dammit. But, yay! It didn't have to go to 7 games.

I gotta say, im pretty impressed that the wings pulled it off, now they've just got to knock the sharks out and we'll be smooth sailing  I'm hopin washington beats those Canadiens and advances, that would be nice to see. It would be a shame for them to have worked so hard and be knocked out in the first round

i agree, seeing them play the way they did tonight really brought back memories of the old wings - 97-98 wings.....strong, confident, constant - great team. Should be a great second round

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the whole game.  Only portions of the first and third periods, but your description fits.  Strong puck possession, good fore/back checking, physical play. 

I also saw a lot of Miller/Eaves/Abdelkader/Helm out there tonight.  They remind a lot of the "Grind Line" from back in the day.
