Ducati Ever Red Warranty...Positive Feed Back?

Has anyone had positive experiences w, the Ducati Ever Red Warranty that you can buy for your Ducati that is effective after the Factory Warranty expires ?

For instance.

Standard Ducati Factory Warranty in '08 -2 years.

Before the anniversary of the 2 years is up you can buy 1,2,or 3 more years of Warranty for your Ducati at what I consider pretty reasonable prices.

I can get 3 years extended warranty for my 1098-R for $963.

My 6 year old S4R has no issues so far ....... maybe extended warranty for the next 5 years would be really good if available

You may be able to buy 1 year at a time but for a 6 year old bike the cost is considerable for just a year like maybe in the $600s.

it's backed by GE so I'd say it's worth the price if the dealer doesn't start screwing with you like they do on extended car warranties.  I saw the pamphlet and read it, really I did.  There's lots in there you should be looking at closely.  The flip side is that the most expensive insurance is none at all.

I don't track it so it's just a Street bike for me and the Dealer and Sales guy whom I've bought many bikes from knows I ride fast but I don't abuse any of my bikes .

All my trades are usually one year old or have less than 6,000 miles on them .

Ducati could say the same thing and in fact I think there Warranty says they don't cover a bike that has been raced or abused or ridden in a way other than the way it was intended.
