Termignoni overrules arrow, looks and sound.
I did got arrows on my previous Duc, now I got Termi on my new 696+, I do prefer Termi. And I still smile when I start my bike.
that's because you dont have SF in your garage yet...

-------------

+1 on Termi, they just sound great.
I like the look of some Zard's tho,

Whatever you can get at a good price. I reckon Termis are overpriced as are many exhausts.
Suppose they gotta get a return on the R&D, but very expensive.

I got the Termis because they were a second hand bargain and they were the oval carbon type made specifically for older Monsters. If I was buying new I would buy locally made (Australia) Megacycle mufflers.

I bet there are some great local manufacturers in the States that are probably cheaper and just as good as Termignoni/Remus/Arrow, etc.

What about Vance and Hines, Two Bros, etc? From what I can tell, there are local guys who could make you anything you want if you wanna be different.

Good luck drink

I can try to post an HD video of my Arrows on my 2006 S2R if it would help any.  I had the stock exhaust but I loved the Arrows so I got them.  Once they were put on my bike, I think I had the biggest smile ever. =)

I just put a set of Zards on my S2R1K. LOVE THEM!! I considered just about everything and narrowed it down to Termis, Arrows and Zards. In the end I wanted to keep the back wheel open. I was riding without cans on for a long time and loved the look. But as far as sound goes for Zards, I love it.

Its all just personal preference. I found that it is hard to tell a difference in sound through videos. Although I have heard both termis and arrows in person but not in the same day.

I went with what I thought looked the best. Its all a matter of personal preference. Go with what you like... its YOUR bike!  waytogo

02 Yamaha Zuma - not a motorcycle but still crashed and jumped it way too many times.
04 Harley Road King Classic - Awesome story behind this

If you love the open tail look why not go with an ex-box or ryanracing H-Competition

I didnt like the ex-box because IMO it looks exactly like the nasty udder that I was trying to get rid of. As far as the ryanracing H-competition, I dont know anything about that system or what it looks like.

n/m ryanracing is only available for the 696/1100.

If you want open tail and hate the QD then go with the boom tubes.. To be honest, I always likes the stacked same side exhaust on the S*R's. In CF it looks great.

Personally, I've narrowed it down to these for my S2R 1000:

Boomtubes...Arrows(in CF !)... and Sparks with oval cans ( Look the Business ).. waytogo

That is why i went with Ti instead of CF on my pipes. I love the look of the CF but after a short while, the CF gets damaged from the road, sun and normal wear. I had the dealer take me into their shop and show me bikes they were working on that had CF pipes and were slowly getting damaged. http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=35884.msg628650#msg628650

Im going to get the pipes ceramic coated black instead.  waytogo

My carbon arrows are 4 years old and have about 25,000 miles on them and still look awesome.
