this morning I dusted of my 95 monster and checked it over and noticed that the output shaft has small amount of endfloat (not sprocket on shaft). Is this something to worry about and how much endfloat is acceptable.

Any help would be appreciated.

Around 0.10mm is normal & nothing to worry about.  [thumbsup]

Have just measured the endfloat and is about .5mm or 20thou, has no axial play and bearing feels smooth. was concerned that somethibg was flogged out.
