Good local store for leather suits?
«

So, I've been looking for a leather suit for longer rides and my ZARS class.
I'm running low on funds, so I'm looking for something inexpensive.
In the past, I haven't been happy with selection at Bob's Cycle (MX stuff mostly) and Motoprimo (REV-IT $$$). I've looked online but I am concerned about sizing (obviously).
Does anyone know of other local stores with decent leather suit selections?

I thought motoprimo had the best selection in leather suits. Uay want to try Leo South also. They had a bunch of Tecnik suits. Or u cud talk to Gabe and buy a Komodo suit. It may be a bit more $$$ but will last u tru more crashes

never skimp the $ on a suit. you get what you buy. i've wrecked a # of times in my komodo and its still holding up well and they are cut well. I've also had vanson's, wrecked in my vanson yesterday in fact, and they are great suits as well but dealing with them sucks, so if a store doesnt have it then and there then you are sol. Kyle at 2k had a bunch of AGV suits really cheep last time i was in there might want to give him a call and see what he has left ot can get you.

Your point about money on gear is well said.
All the same, even a $400 suit is going to be better than my $100 pants and $200 jacket (both textile).
If I can't find anything reasonable soon, I'll try and save up some cash for a Komodo.
Geoff, what do you mean by "2K"? I haven't heard of them.

He's talking about 2K Motorsports. The owner is Kyle...nice guy. He has a small shop in Richfield. 612-243-1150 Just call him up and see what he has.

yeah Kyle is a stand up guy and his shop does good work. He's also a bridgestone dealer. check the wera forum for used suits too. that place is a clearing house sometimes. I was on last night looking for new boots and saw alot of leathers in the gear section. some of the suits have only been worn 2 or 3 times. the best equipment is what you can afford.
