Your post is off topic.

The subject line is just bait to get people in to ridicule.

OP:

More weak sauce.  [roll]

Topic is: Sex and the City Movie!, says so right at the top.
Indulging you for a moment, in your theory that the thread is just to bait people for ridicule, how are posts about apple martinis even *remotely* on topic?

My post re: Apple-tinis was that a lot of women are going to be drinking a lot of those kinds of drinks before/after watching 'sex & the city'.  That could be good news for single guys out there wanting to meet single women    [wine] because a little liquor helps lube people in social environments, like bars/clubs.

Did you read the OP?  Pretty much gives it away.  Subject lines are pretty random around here, part of why there are so many derbys....  [thumbsup]

And SATC popularized apple martinis for women, my wife explained that to me.

anything else you need help with?

Hows the Gran Canyon doing?  Nice bike, eh?

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Yeah, I read the OP.
'SATC Movie' remains as the topic.
I know SATC popularized apple martinis.

Yes, I need help, perhaps I need to be more formal:

OP:

He's right. I have literally written down the names of everyone who posted in this thread. Whether you claim to have seen it or not, you have expressed intererest in what can only be described as an extremely girly movie (poorly reviewed, as a bad version of a once interesting TV show, at that) implicitly by clicking on and reading this thread. I now officially have less respect for every one you, and plan to respect your opinions less in the future.

The fact that this thread made it to 3 pages in one day is an ominous sign for the DMF.............
Aftermarket: RoadRacing modified under-engine exhaust, revalved 996 forks, ProCutting half-open clutch, CC triple and pressure plate, 999 clipons, BMC filter, CRG-LS mirrors, PC3, Rizoma rearsets, heated grips, +2 teeth in rear gearing, Veypor VR2 computer, MBP collets, Yoyodyne slave, Galfer waves front and rear, misc CF (mostly faded), CRG clutch/brake levers.

The fact that you think this way and (hopefully) plan to spend less time here because of it is a good sign.

And thank god you literally wrote our names down!  What if it had been figurative?!?!

Speeddog

If I crush my Pat Benatar, Heart, and Linda Ronstadt albums, will you respect me more?

Not that I'm gonna do it, I'm just thinking out loud.

and what does it say about you that you felt the need to start a thread about this movie and see what other people's opinions are? i think you already watched it and were hoping that your love of the movie would be felt by others. when we agreed that we didn't like the movie you felt compelled to cover up and make sure that you compensated for your own feeligns ont he movie by trying to bash us. it's kinda like when a guy with a small wiener buys a sportbike...wait...dammit!
