For those who are thinking about buying these....dont be fooled on how muc hrise they have, they advertise almost 6", but they are mosre like 2.25 MAX unlimited adjustments but you cant bring them clsoer to your bike. why? because the switch on the ducati monsters interfere with the tank. evne with the steering stops maxed out. I was thinking about buying longer steering stops and giving it 3-4mm more thread. i dont really U turn that much anyway.

i LOVED my cyclecats, but couldnt bare to see them in another crash. with no parts and too expensive to replace the whole unit. i had to swap to something easy, like apex clip ons. tubes are $15 bucks for 2. Cheap cheap cheap!!!

the Apex requires you to either remove your triple, or slide your forks out, the later is easier by far. but requires you to have a jack or a triple stand.

In this pic, the cycle cat is ontop lens cover. why? the APex is thicker, and to be fair they both need to be level to measure teh rise level.

on apex's site, when they mentioned 6 inches of rise, that was the height adjuster all the way up, and the tip of the h-bar sweep completely up.

very misleading.

also what i thought was weird. i called them and asked if them could do a price match. they said they don't treat anybody special. but i responded, one of your distributors are selling cheaper than your "apex's" site. if you(me) want to become a dealer, we can set up up with that.

come on He Man, ditch those h-bar switches. you only need a push button to start and wire high beams on. turn signal are your middle finger. good to go. waytogo

HAHHAAHAH best thing ive read all week! I am seriously contemplating making my own switch, i would just zip tie all the buttons to my handle bar. LOL

on a serious note though. that end of the bar.... it isnt 6 inches. no matter how you count it. its just a tad over 5. and thats counting from the bottom of the triple, to the top of the bar at the very end.

also i dont know what kind of person rides their bike with the bars jacked up like that.  i tried it today. it felt like i was riding a retarded dirt bike that crashed more than 10 times.

you can't hate on the people with the 70's open cut helmets, and bowed out arms hovering over their bars with their tongue hanging out.

the apex's aren't for him then. 6 inches is the minimum.

no i don't want the stock handlebar height. i just couldn't commit to buying a fix height clip on, then i found these and fell in love.

who does $180 w/free shipping? the only reason why i called apex was to do price match, because i'm in indiana and they're in michigan.

No offense but usually most "buy direct from manufacturer" is more expensive than buying from a dealer. They don't want to undercut their dealer network. Just sayn'

sportbiketrackgear.com

but they sent me 1 in 50mm and 1 in 53mm so i returned it and supported monsterparts.com when i found out they carried it.

So now i have 180 bucks of credit at SBTG. Sad

i think they will, they gave me free shipping back to them. i just have to ask. I was going to buy the new 2010 Teknic Violator suit from them, but Revzilla is offering a free track day with any purchase of a suit over $799, inculding gear.

So if i buy from Revzilla, i essentially get the suit for $544, where SBTG would cost me $719. And i plan on getting on the trak this year anyway.

THe violator seems like a really good suit, but theres several DAinese Steel suits for $850. but between the 2 suits, i think they are both great.

oh the choices!
