I never knew they made a CD of it...yes Albert King, Allman Bros. and J Geils  we left after the Allman Bros as we were so wasted

sad to say I wasn't much of a fan of any of the final acts so I didn't mind leaving...

it didn't register as anything significant at the time...not much did back then....

the tickets were free from a friend whose father was in the business
This is an insult to the Pez community

It could have been a different performance.

had to run to my CD collection to check, but it was recorded March 12-13 1971.

I might have to go listen to 33 minutes of amazingness right now.........Mountain Jam. I think one of the best live tracks ever recorded (but then again, I think Do you Feel like we do by Frampton is also very good)

I remember posting this in another thread a while back.   I once got to be conducted by Sir Georg Solti. [bow_down] [bow_down]

Not a concert I went to but...

one of my wife's former co-workers was at the Dimebag Darrell (I can't think of the band because I hated them) Concert here in Columbus where he was killed.

Apparently this guy was the last one to get a picture taken with him and it pictured in some sort of biography book about his "amazing" life.

Who died?

1/4 Ounce Darrel......er........Dimebag Darrell...........guitar player for Pantera. (note: he was a good metal guitarist, just not my style nor do I respect someone that changes their name to "Dimebag")

He got shot and killed by some lunatic in Columbus, OH a few years ago.

Randy,

envious of your Pink Floyd concert.

The only Floyd I ever come across are those stupid laser shows or some shitty cover band.
