Supposedly 22% thinner and with bigger storage.

They forgot to mention the digital projector, built in taser and auto-drive for cars with ipod connections.   cheeky

actually, they've already developed one that has a foldable seamless video screen, weights 2 grammes, contains an entire surgery kit, and is 2 mm thick, but they are not debuting that until 2020, they will be giving us incremental versions -- each slightly thinner and more functional until then.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

i think its great when people get so worked up about the iphone, when it really doesnt bring anything new to the table. its so "revolutionary". oh wait, nevermind, HTC already did that. yep, that too. the only revolutionary thing about the iphone, is no buttons, but really how great is that?

i think it's great when people get so worked up about bashing the iphone, when it really doesn't bring anything new to the conversation.  its so "revolutionary" to rebel against what other people like. Roll Eyes

I used to have an HTC and I liked it a lot but it was just a bit thick for me.  After playing around with my friend's iphone I realized that the form factor is much more to my liking than my HTC was which is why I'm getting excited.  This will be my first new cell phone in about 3 years.

In terms of the specs of the device I do agree that it isn't really revolutionary and that it's much more a "victim" of hype and fanboyism than its functionality deserves but I don't care cuz I'm getting it for me, not for anyone else.

Actually, heard ATT may subsidize them down to about $200...  I'll be getting one regardless though, as I need to replace my old ass ipod anyway.  Might as well kill two birds....

I will be buying one MOnday.  I held off for a year, but now with the 3G and the fact that my main CMS has fully integrated with it, I will be ordering/buying/whatever as soon as it's announced.  Oh, and the company is picking up the tab anyhow.  Grin

I thought the rumor was announced on Monday available for sale on the 26th.  Do you know something different with your "web geek" title?  Earlier would be better imo cuz I'm getting tired of waiting.
