Chain clicking when turning wheel by hand

I got into an accident around a week ago (lowsided on a turn) and just now started to hear the chain make a clicking noise when I went to clean and lube my chain. It clicks around two times per full rotation. I think it might be the wheel alignment, but am not completely sure. Also my bike is a Monster 696 with only 1900 miles, if that makes a difference.

Anyone have any ideas? Help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance

I also haven't gotten the bike checked up after the accident by a technician, should I? The bike runs fine besides the chain clicking.

It might be "jumping" a tooth on the front sprocket due to a misalignment. Not 100% sure. It wouldn't be a bad idea to take it by the dealer.

What does it sound like is causing the popping noise?  If the chain is popping onto or off of the sprocket teeth, then allignment is a possible issue.  It's easy to see if your rear wheel (and sprocket) is pointing straight ahead by putting a straight edge against the rear sprocket and making sure the chain follows it.  If the straight edge is at a different angle than the chain then it needs to be adjusted.  Also, it would be a good idea to make sure the chain tension is set correctly.

The alignment seems to be alright and the tension is good. I'll just go ahead and go to the dealer to see what they have to say. How much do you think it should cost to get this checked out?

It shouldn't cost anything coz you're not taking it to the dealer!! 
Either your chain's too tight or your sprockets are out of alignment. The chain doesn't have many miles on it and you said you maintain it well so grab yerself a wrench and start adjusting it.

I have a few stiff links and my chain does the same thing. The sound is just loud enough that It caused some concern. It turned out to be a lubrication issue.
