Given the ridiculous delays in getting my Termis, I am thinking of installing a set of BoomTubes.  Looking at the profile of the bike with the BoomTubes, the passenger pegs stand out as a bit of an eye sore.  If one removes the passenger pegs, the rear of the bike would look so open.  Is there a cheap way to do this without having to shell out $600+ for a rear set from someone like Sato Racing?

I've seen folks take off the rear pegs and grind off the back of the rearset just past the mounting hole for the stock cans.

looks pretty clean.

Thanks for the info.  I think the chopped rear pegs definitely clean up the back end.  Something to add to the list of mods to do.  Damn that list keeps growing faster than I can get things done.
