HAHAHA!

WRONG!  Most people crash, bang a stock muffler, only to find out its cheaper to get a set of aftermarket slipons to replace their mufflers than to replace a single OEM heavy, quiet pipe.

If you're talking new, yes.

I specified "take-off" replacements, as in a used one that someone took off when they installed aftermarket mufflers. I've seen like-new take-off's for a tiny fraction of what even a very cheap aftermarket exhaust would cost.

You seem to imply that quiet is somehow bad. My Termi's with the baffles in are slightly quieter than my wife's new stock mufflers. I like it that way because it keeps the peace with the neighbors.

I would rather not be loud and obnoxious. I also want to keep the peace with my neighbors and also not wake up the wife and kids if I'm coming home late at night after a night ride. Looking at a 2006 monster 620 dark right now in my area. Will keep you all posted.
