i've seen lots of silly automotive trends, this is one I cannot wait for it to die (almost makes me miss underglow and LED washer nozzles  [laugh] )

they don't have to be boyd coddington perfect, but if your going to put your time and money into a car, don't purposely make it a piece of shit. there are plenty of half done dream cars that are in that stage.

on another note, new cars with rusted hoods? why, why, why, why! when I graduated VW school, I could have taken a job on the east coast for about twice as much as I got to come back here.... but I couldn't do it, I could not imagine my car getting rust.. plus I'm not a big fan of cold weather.

40-41 were good year cars to make gassers out of.. no doubt about that!  Sure there's the ChevyII's Falcons, shoeBoxes and so many others, but the 40/41 Ford or Willy's really just make a gasser look "right"
