Went to start my bike the other day and it has been awhile.  My bike wouldn't start so I took my air pods off and looked into my FCR's.  It didn't seem like those fuel pumps weren't squirting gas into the cylinder.  Anyway I cleaned the carbs (which seemed clean anyway) and drained the fuel tank.  Is there a way to test the fuel pump to see if its working before I put the tank back on the bike?

Your bike sound real nice.

I guess that you've eyeballed the hoses, etc.

Check your filter as you would be amazed how they can clag up.

I take it you mean the accelerator pumps were not squirting fuel when you twisted the throttle so you suspect a faulty fuel pump?

Do you have a vacuum fuel tap or 'manual' (turn on/off) type one? You could bypass it to test it as the vacuum type can fail.

You can test the fuel pump by disconnecting the hose from the carbs and crank the motor to see if any fuel comes out of it into a container. Or you could bypass the fuel pump by running a hose fom the tap to the carbs and see if it gets fuel.
