Rode my bike into work this morning with no problems - it started right up.  Fast foward 10 hours, go out the parking lot and it won't start (the starter motor doesn't even turn when the start button is pushed)  - the speedo and the rpm indicators move, the odometer  kicks on, the temperature indicator flash "LO" and then flashes at various temperatures. The other lights on the indicator - neutral, Oil press, and EOBD light stay lit. Of course this all happens 2 days after the warranty expires. It looks like the electrical system is not quite right, unfortunately the bike is parked at work.

Any thoughts what is causing the problem? Bad battery? Bad connections?

Thanks,
Rob

Much like the average PC. When in doubt, reboot.

Just disconnect and reconnect the battery after about 1 minute. I assume by EOBD you mean that yellow flashing light thingy. Check your antenna loop to see if its connected/in the right place. Its under the ignition. An can be inspected a little better with the tank up.

Bring your extra key too.. it might be that.
