Did this maybe cost more than that Veyron that ran off into a body of water?

Eek.

I'm under the impression that farm equipment is rather expensive (well, compared to your average automobile).

Classic case of texting while farming.

what is that two of those harvester things in the water or is that just one really big one?

looks like they both tried to squeeze by each other on a bridge that only one could barely go on.

from what i have read they cost a bundle each.

Well here is my guess since I grew up farming in the largest dry pea, lentil, and wheat producing region in the US.
I have seen stuff like this happen, though not to this extent.
My guess is that he was trying to move over for an approaching vehicle and got a little to
far over. The implement slid off and pulled him off the bridge.
It used to be no big deal if this happened in the past because you were only pulling a single disk  or harrow or drill
implement. With the advent of "one pass" farming, where you pull huge implements that do it all in one pass.
You are pulling this huge heavy implement and it pulls you when you make the beast with two backs up.

Could've been the misuse of a tractor beam?  :P

Looks like a classic case of target fixation.
