No Low Beam (M696) Updated with pics!

You need to cut and splice the OE headlight so you can attache the aftermarket one. I did it on the frame side. Due to cramped space, the ground wire at the OE plug broke and had to redo. I decided to go back to stock for esthetic reasons. Here is a pic of the kit.




As I am a bit clumsy I scratched some parts. Here are the pics to the scratches.









I also cut the OE headlight and pod support so I can install the speedometer. I can also include that part if interested.
If you take a closer look at the earlier pictures, you might get an idea on how it works.

Cool, I can see how the pod is mounted to the stock headlight frame but what attaches the frame holding the pod to the bike itself.
Is this thing on?

Pretty much the same way with the exception that you have to fabricate some kind of bracket so the pod doesn't vibrate as much. I used some T and L brackets from Lowes. You have to get creative about it. Not sure how to better describe it.
