Not a bad race today, Spies showed very early promise, but then OOPS!...

He did...hopefully Spies will be able to put on a good show at Silverstone in 2x weeks.  I think this is the best Rossi has finished in dry conditions in a while.

Rossi has two 7th place finishes in dry conditions, one at Estoril before LeMans and today's race.

Good call...he looked a bit more competitive from my end...then again, it could have been the meds I was on!  Ducati will be testing a few things (swingarm & electronics) on Monday which will hopefully help continue improving the bike setup.

Not so much in Race 2, eh?  Melandri is making a little mess of things here & there.

I think Checa and Guintoli have a few colorful words for him!

What a fun MotoGP race!  It was refreshing to see different riders dominate the front pack for the initial parts of the race.  I think Stoner and Lorenzo were caught by surprise when their competition started the race at a much faster pace than expected.  Crutchlow's finish was impressive considering his fresh ankle injury.

Agree, a great race today!!

Lorenzo looked very strong, after getting the lead & pulled away.....Stoner never really threatened after getting passed,  tire issues or suspension? Roll Eyes

Maybe there is just a little edge that's missing now since he announced his retirement at the end of this season.

Moto2 had a great race for 2nd and overall still better racing than MotoGP.  Dolph

Not to mention the fact that he started from dead last in the field.  He's got Ben's ride next year for sure. If the race was a few laps longer he would have even go past Spies.

Miller in Utah or Barber in Alabama? Just because they ran at Barber this past weekend. I got to see the 600 race from Saturday that Speed showed on Sunday. I have this weird feeling that Speed showed the Sunday Race 2's today and that I missed recording them.  bang head

But yes, the AMA is much more fun to watch than MotoGP. Nuts, just about anything is.  Roll Eyes

You're right, it was Barber...for some reason I'm always getting them mixed up.  Funny too, because I think Barber is a great track, while Miller is not so much so.

I missed the Race 2s also... Sad
