I'm worried about small tank capacity and range and where does the hard luggage go? And no centerstand? For that price? Jeez! laughingdp

Also gone is the Desmosedici's ugly, replaced instead with purpose and mechanical function.

I, for one, never ever thought the Desmosedici was even close to ugly.  This rendition may have "purpose and mechanical function" (as though the original doesn't?) but it's not nearly as good looking.

I love the exhaust on it, but i wonder how loud it is? better yet i wonder how that would look on my 848?

+1

It's so expensive that they won't tell us the price, but it doesn't come with lowers?  Cool, but not pretty, IMO.

i'd rather have a 999RS, after seeing Nash's (err... Toseland's  Cheesy), the D16rr is almost *too* commercial. I don't expect the M16 to be substantially different, though more exotic.

I wonder at which temp it runs with only half the radiator surface of a normal D16.

just reread the posting, i can't believe they are going with a half fairing, that looks awful   bang head

talk about royally screwing up a nice design, so in order to get the bike lighter they just cut off half the fairing? that is stupid.  what are they now taking design advisce from shervin?

although the exhaust and tail section are a good upgrade.

yes i know they did more than a half fairing but its a "race bike" i understand them wanting to show off their handiwork, but i thought they might redo some of the full fairing so make it more theirs, much like bimota does with their bikes, they still make fully faired bikes and manage to show off their handiwork.

laughingdp They did a bit more than that. Removing the bottom fairing saved them a few pounds at most. My guess is they did it because that is their style...most (maybe all) of their faired bikes are only half-faired.
