I agree - but it's just too crazy for that. I read that you can see it on google maps now.

Another one!? There was a sinkhole in Guatemala city just a couple of years ago. Over 300ft deep IIRC.

Believed to be caused by a ruptured sewer main.

Also almost perfectly round.

I remember one in the U.S.  a number of years ago and a woman drove her Mercedes into it ....or I should say it was " swallowed " by the the sink hole.

I don't think it's visible on googlemaps. I saw a vid that is pointing to the corner of 11 Avenida A and 6A Calle but there's nothing there.

What happened to the old sink hole? Does it get filled? Wasn't it also a really deep one? Googlemaps doesn't show anything there besides a building.

Over 300 feet deep.

It's been filled in and several plans have been submitted for redeveloping the site.
