The unleash the red deal with $650 bucks off pushed me over the edge--I got a brand new 2009 Monster 1100 in red.  I pick it up tomorrow night and I put the money down this morning, so she's mine.  

I am really stoked and cannot wait to ride.  No mods for a bit, the bike pretty much took my savings--Christmas looks like the Termi slip ons and ECU, though....

Ha!  I saved for two years to get this--no loan.  I will get mods when I can, but my other bike is very custom so I'm not going to go wild with the Monster. 

The plan--within 6-8 months have risers or damper, touring seat if I need it, and pipes/ecu.  That will be it, and after it is broken in.  Time to just enjoy it for now...

I went from riding Harleys to riding BMWs to riding Ducati Monsters.

Now I have a Ducati Super bike.

It will be a totally different riding experience but you will soon come to love what a Ducati is made to do.

Handle and go fast, plus with an aftermarket exhaust especially a Termignoni w, an open Airbox and a DP ECU , you will fall in love with the red Italian Stallion and it's music.
